Should i avoid buying home w/ radon reduction system?

well, i have found the THE perfect home. it has a radon reduction system. how bad will this hurt appreciation value? do i even want it? should i find out if the neighbors have them/or does that even matter?

what if i paid cash for the home, does this help if the appreciation level is not what it should be?

please help. i am a first time homebuyer, so dont have much experience with how things REALLY work.Should i avoid buying home w/ radon reduction system?
What is the level of radon in the house with the mitigation system running? What was the level before? Is that an area with known high levels of radon? Lots of questions you want to have answers for.

On the other hand having a radon mitigation system that takes care of the problem is way better than having the problem and not knowing about it.

In the end you will live there. Do you buy the house only for the possible appreciation? Houses don't really appreciate over time unless something special happen like big development in the area. You have to keep an eye on the inflation too.

If you can find a perfect house without radon sure buy that one. It all depends. Good luck!Should i avoid buying home w/ radon reduction system?
definately talk to neighbors - if theres a problem already then its a bad idea - no matter what, have the house inspected - payin cash should drop the initial price plus no interest or finance charges for all those years - appreciation comes from the upkeep of the home and whats goin on in that neighborhood - take ur time - its goin to be you livin there GL
