Real Estate is always a great investment. Always try to find a great buy.. even if it is a fixer upper, that's still a good investment.. While right now would not be the best time to try to turn a profit on your investment.. Hold on, the tide will turn and you will get your investment back, with a profit.. Always buy in a depressed market as it it a buyers market.. and sell when the rates are low and we just had another rate cut .075 of a percent this morning. so things are looking up for sellers.. This is the worst time to start flipping a house. The housing market is expected to take massive losses in terms of resale value. Hold off. The deals will get better in the near future.
Anytime is a good time to do that, just make sure you do it with cash and don't go into debt for the purchase or for the renovations.





If you have payments to make and things start to get tight, you are more likely than not going to have to sell for less when the time comes.
It is always a good time as long as you are able to buy the property at enough of a discount to be able to fix it up, and still sell under market value. If you have the best home in the area under market value, it will sell, no matter what the market is like. Now if in order to make the flip make money you have to ask top dollar, it may be a bad move.
