Buying home is subject to seller finding home of choice...Is this worth dealing with?

I am interested to see a home that says ';sale is subject to owner finding home of choice';

Is this worth the headache that it sounds? I like the house, and would like to see it, but that kind of turns me off and makes me think...Pain in the ar se? Y/N?Buying home is subject to seller finding home of choice...Is this worth dealing with?
Have your Realtor (PU-LEASE HAVE YOUR OWN REALTOR) contact the listing Realtor and ask them if their seller is going to be reasonable in their home search. If they've ';been looking for the right house'; for 15 months already, then don't go for it.

Also, how good of a deal are you going to get for this inconvenience, and does your current living arrangement allow for it?

If you do, make sure your Realtor (you know, the one representing YOU and not the seller?) put into the contract a time frame, allowing you out if the seller cannot find their house. Don't start spending inspection money or appraisal money until you have a better feel for time frame also.Buying home is subject to seller finding home of choice...Is this worth dealing with?
just have the contract written to says they have to be out at closing which will be in 3 weeks or when they find a house, whichever is sooner
I think you shouldn't let this deter you from seeing the home...lot's of times this is originally posted and the seller's may have already found a home to buy. And, usually a seller cannot put in an offer on another home unless his/her home is under contract so they need to sell so they can put in an offer....this frees up the seller to buy another home. It's not a pain really......it is the norm in this business.
