We are looking to buy are first home since the state will live in has many forclosed homes. Right now we are in an apartment and our lease will not be up till the end of the year. Will a realtor be able to break our lease with the apartment complex so we are able to get a house sooner then the end of the year? Your landlord is not obligated to let you out of the lease because you are buying a house. Check your contract to see if there is a way to break the contract without penalty.Real estate, buying home, and our lease with apartment.?
You would have to read your lease but I have not seen one that allows breaking the lease because you buy a home.
Your lease should state the penalty for breaking a lease.
