Buying home but need to get rid of tenants first HELP!!?

We are buying a condo in CT from my grandmother. She currently has a tenant who is not in a lease he is month to month. How much notice must we give him by law to get out of the condo so that we can move in?Buying home but need to get rid of tenants first HELP!!?
By law, you would have to give that tenant a 30 day notice.Buying home but need to get rid of tenants first HELP!!?
Because you are in another state (CT), I would check with the local city to see if they have such guidelines. In most places, because they are month to month, then 30 days should be sufficient. So be kind, give them 60 days.
lease or no lease a landlord, which you will be only has to give a tenant 30 days.
