I am assuming you are somewhere in the US. The top site for real estate listings is www.mls.com (mls.ca in Canada). It will take you to real estate listings in your area.





The only minor problem is that the listings are usually a day or two old, so the very newest ones aren't up there yet.





If you are looking to get the best deal before someone else does - then you probably should ask a real estate agent in the area you are looking at to set you up with Listings-By-Email.





Note: this does NOT oblige you to work with an agent. You may choose to buy privately, in which case you need to get a copy of an ';Agreement of Purchase';, and get a lawyer (you would need one with an agent anyways).
